Hi John,

You guys have separate group for Academy Hardware Foundation (AHWF) for open source hardware for movie and TV production like digital movie cameras, camera control (automatic camera control/motion, stabilizer), microphones, digital projectors, mixers, etc? I think open source hardware is important for this industry. I know Axoim develop Apertus° open source movie camera.

  • Reviewing the existing entries for accuracy, including to ensure entries are pointing to the correct GitHub repository and organization.
  • Submit projects we are missing to be included.
  • Share the landscape with others! You can include the landscape in presentations or promotion of your project ( both png and pdf versions are available ).
Big thanks to the opensourcevfx.org project team which was the original data source for the landscape, along with Larry Gritz and Jean-Francois Panisset who both have spent many cycles on the curation and categorization of projects.
