Summary of ASWF structure
It was at first, but just realized it isn't and working to get it added back in there. Thank you, John Mertic Director of Program Management - Linux Foundation ASWF, ODPi, and Open Mainframe Project On Wed, Jul 31, 2019 at 2:44 PM Rob Bredow <rob.bredow@...> wrote:

John, Is that charter linked from our website anywhere? I realize it might not be very discoverable right now. Rob On Wed, Jul 31, 2019 at 2:26 PM Andrew Kaufman <andrew@...> wrote: That's perfect, thanks! |

I think sections 4.1-4.3 of the aforementioned pdf do a good job laying out the landscape of the foundation, assuming it still applies as written there (aside from the name change). Is there any reason not to make that portion of the document public (either as an attachment here, as an markdown file on the tac GitHub page, or as a first class section of aswf.io)? |

Also https://github.com/AcademySoftwareFoundation/tac has a lot of what you might be looking for, as well as the various GOVERNANCE, CONTRIBUTING, etc., in the individual projects such as OpenColorIO and OpenVDB. On Wed, Jul 31, 2019 at 1:04 PM John Mertic <jmertic@...> wrote:

Hey Andrew! There are some slides in the overview deck which might help - I've attached them below... Thank you, John Mertic Director of Program Management - Linux Foundation ASWF, ODPi, and Open Mainframe Project On Wed, Jul 31, 2019 at 12:52 PM Andrew Kaufman <andrew@...> wrote: Hi all, |

Hi all,
Apologies if this has been asked/answered before, but I couldn't find much info in the obvious places. I'm looking for some public documentation of the foundation structure, including the roles of the governing board, TAC, and project TSCs. Basically, a public equivalent to the "Open Source Investigation Summary and Recommendations" pdf that was circulated before the foundation was formed. Thanks, Andrew |
