Unfortunately I haven't really had much of a look into the windows building process. Just wanted to clarify a few things though. Which version of python are you using (and was it one distributed by python.org or one you built yourself?).

If you built it yourself, which compiler / msvc version were you using?

Can't promise a speedy resolution to your problem, but I'll give it a stab when I get the chance.
