Mari 1.4v1, now with OCIO support builtin

Jeremy Selan <jeremy...@...>

Congrats to the Mari team for Shipping version 1.4v1, which features native OpenColorIO support!

They've even posted a video demonstrating the integration:

Pretty cool stuff.  Texture painters can now have a realtime preview of 3d view luts, and for those who already already have OCIO configured, everything should just work 'out of the box'.

Living the dream... ;)

Is this the first commercially available application with OCIO support? :D

Sort of.

Katana 1.0 was released with OCIO support first, but it's still in limited release at the moment.

And Mari is the first app you can purchase online that ships with OCIO.

So congrats should probably be split equally amongst both Foundry teams. ;)

Looks like Katana may have some competition soon for that second-place spot!
