We recently added a new PROCESS.md document to the OCIO repo documenting some project development processes. In particular it describes the process around proposing and developing core library changes, as well as the approval process for all changes that are merged into OpenColorIO. A new issue has been created to invite further community discussion and feedback on this document. Please have a look and chime in if you have comments:
