OCIO v2 beta1 tag
Doug Walker
Hi all,
As you hopefully heard at the SIGGRAPH and ASWF BoFs, development of OpenColorIO is currently in a stabilization and testing phase in preparation for the official release of v2 around the end of the year.
We received some feedback (Issue #1196) that it would be helpful to use tags and version identifiers to mark way-points along the path to the official release. We have started doing that and today's master branch is now 'v2.0.0-beta1'.
We kindly ask for your participation in testing the master branch to help us make a robust and stable v2 release.
Also, if you have not seen it yet, please check out the updated documentation available from opencolorio.org and give us your feedback.
many thanks,
Doug Walker
