I posted a PR that adds an 'Otioz' and 'Otiod' adapters to the project. Otioz is a zipfile that bundles media and the playlist together, and otiod is a directory, both with some constraints on what kind of input they take. They are inspired by USDZ, if you're familiar with that format from the USD project. There is some good conversation in the PR thread.
