Joshua Minor
Here are my notes from last week's OTIO TSC meeting: Attendees: Joshua Minor (Pixar) Eric Reinecke (Netflix) Josh Burnell (Dreamworks) Daniel Flehner Heen (Storm Studios) Michel Eid (Autodesk) Eric Desruisseaux (Autodesk) Release of OTIO Beta 12 - Eric R. will join us for a dry-run of releasing Beta 12 sometime this week or next. - We're aiming to get a few more PRs landed before release, if possible, but none are blockers. ImageSequenceReference & RV - Daniel added support for ImageSequenceReference to the RV adapter. - Eric, Eric & Gates will test it out and provide feedback. - Josh B. will finalize RV plugin PR soon: https://github.com/PixarAnimationStudios/OpenTimelineIO/pull/623 ASWF Adoption - PR to update Pixar copyright notices to broader "Copyright Contributors to the OpenTimelineIO project" terminology. - We will ask other contributors to update their copyright notices also. - TODO: Add a CONTRIBUTORS.md file with a list of who has contributed. - Eric R. looking at ASWF CI, and steps to build Python wheels of OTIO. More Adapters - We briefly discussed the etiquette around making adapters for formats that are not fully open. - This can be a starting point for discussion with some vendors about integrating OTIO more directly in their products. RationalTime - Stephan and Nick are working on a document that describes the mathematical foundations of time as a grounding basis for future changes to RationalTime. AAF Adapter - Andrew's PR is getting close to completion: https://github.com/PixarAnimationStudios/OpenTimelineIO/pull/617
