As part of OpenTimelineIO’s transition into the Academy Software Foundation, the project’s main repository is moving from the “PixarAnimationStudios” GitHub organization to the “AcademySoftwareFoundation” organization.
This change will align OpenTimelineIO to other ASWF open source projects, and will allow OTIO to make use of shared infrastructure provided by ASWF and the Linux Foundation. Thankfully, GitHub makes this transition quite easy. All of the old URLs will automatically redirect to the new one, including your local git remotes. Although not necessary, we recommend that you update your local git remote to the new URL after the move is complete. We will send detailed instructions (a single git command) when the new URL is available.
